Production Coordinator
As a Production Coordinator at Westmoreland Films, I worked on 90+ commercial video and photo shoots. Clients include Harris Teeter, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, The Goddard School, AvidXchange, Atrium Health, and more.
Assistant Producer
In 2019, I assisted in pre-production and production for a documentary with the UNCW Media Production team. I completed a grant for funding and created an estimated budget for the project. Pre-production also involved creating a treatment, location scouting, creating a shooting schedule, and writing interview questions. During production, I interviewed individuals and helped film b-roll.
Operations Director for Visions Film Festival & Conference
Visions Film Festival & Conference is a student run film festival at UNC Wilmington. The two day event consists of screenings, panels with filmmakers and scholars, a video race, and social events. As Operations Director, I led a team in organizing registration, parking, and technical operations. I worked with staff on campus is negotiating a rental agreement and ensured that the venue was set up correctly for the event. I also worked with the Programming department in sending invitationals to filmmaker and film scholars, organizing and choosing submissions, and obtaining necessary materials from the selected filmmakers and scholars. In 2019, Visions had 6 film professionals and 22 filmmakers and scholars presenting for the event, and we had 350+ attendees over the two days.
"Amuzument"
"Amuzument" is a short documentary film I worked on in 2019 about a theater in Southport, NC that is over 100 years old. I worked as lead director of photography and assisted with the interviews we conducted and post-production editing. Our team was approached by UNC-TV about including our short film in an episode of North Carolina Weekend and in November 2019 our film premiered on UNC-TV.
